Free Introduction Class:
If you’re looking to learn more about CrossFit and how you can get involved with CrossFit Restoration, please contact the front desk to schedule a FREE introduction class or follow us on Facebook for our next "bring a friend" day, which is scheduled for March 31st. We are located inside True. Fitness at 340 12th street in the restoration district of Dubuque. The class is led by one of our Head Coaches and starts with a brief discussion on the training principles of CrossFit followed by a warm up and work out.
Membership with CrossFit Restoration begins with a 2 month KickStart program. The KickStart program starts off with the individual attending 4-5 90 minute sessions with a certified Crossfit Coach. These sessions are usually in a small class or individual setting where we teach the fundamental movements you need to know before starting regular classes . These sessions are technique and form driven and are designed for the beginner in mind but scalable for even the most advanced athlete. After the foundations classes have completed, the individual will then begin normal programming. Our Next foundations program will begin March 13th at 6:30 PM. Following the completion of Foundations, members start up in our regular classes. Classes are structured to start with a warm up before moving into some skill review or strength work. Upon completion of this we will discuss the Workout of the Day (WoD), answer any questions and then get after it. Don’t worry about fitness level before getting into regular classes, everything we do is scalable to each person’s level of fitness. We just ask you push yourself physically and mentally to complete the WoD.
